Young Guru talks Bad Boy, Watch The Throne
Young Guru sits down with Hip Hop Chronicle Uk and discusses his early start with Bad Boy including working with then unknown Eminem and 50 Cent, the Otis Video as well as the Watch The Throne album, and talks about a funny story between him and Just Blaze.
At 3:50 is the best segment where Guru talks about his thoughts on Watch The Throne and breaks down a couple tracks, including the RZA laced ‘New Day’, the fun ‘Otis’ video, and how him and 9th wonder will go back and forth arguing on what tracks are hot or not.
At 9:35 a really funny story emerges about how Just Blaze destroyed Youg Guru in a dj Battle that got Guru ridiculously heated – definitely check this part out for a laugh!

Motivation | How Bad Do You Want It?
How Bad Do You Want It from Greyskale Multimedia LLC on Vimeo.
This video has been making its rounds around the web lately and rightfully so. Such a great message, if you really want to be successful, go out and and show it’ don’t just talk about it. The amount of effort you put in everyday is up to you, but if you really want to be successful, you’ve got to put in the work.
When you get to the point where all you want to be is successful as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.
The amount of work you put in is up to you, you have to determine how bad you want it; but there is no way around it, hard work, dedication is key to success.
The original background audio is from this video:
Couple great takeaways at the very end:
you’ve got to have heart [to be successful]
The most important thing is this: to be able at any moment to sacrifice what you are for what you will become.
